As consequence of the increasingly world wide energy demand it is necessary to increase and develop the energy production from renewable sources. Bioethanol and Biodiesel are a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources.
In this field, MdE has experience in:
- Technology selection between the existing technologies in the market for obtaining bioethanol from crops. Energetic integration study with a cogeneration plant.
- Technology selection between the existing technologies in the market for obtaining biodiesel and glycerin from raw vegetal oils.
- Basic design of the pilot plant for the bioethanol production from different raw materials from agricultural sources.
- Study for a bioethanol plant with a capacity of 100.000 m3 / year.
- Study for a biodiesel plant with a capacity of 80.000 m3 / year.
