The 20th anniversary of MdE (1987-2007)

Last June, the 20th anniversary of the creation of Mediterrània d 'Enginyeria was celebrated. The company grew out of an entrepreneurial team decision to build a company dedicated to engineering projects for the processing industry. Everyone's efforts enabled us to grow and introduce new technologies to cover areas broad and diverse as petrochemicals, resins, food and pharmaceutical sectors in which the company has become a reference point.

Nowadays, MdE has established itself as a world leader in fermentation technology, expanding in recent years to project an average of three plants per year. Its projects are distributed in over twenty countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.

Our company has executed large projects and has taken the responsibility, not just of engineering but also of their supplies, construction and commissioning. MdE takes pride in projects of great technical complexity and management, as the chloromethanes plant performed for Honghe Chemical in China, the pharmaceuticals plant for Medichem in Malta or the seven yeast plants designed to Angel Yeast in China.
